Department of Agricultural Engineering at Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT) is among the newest department at MIT which started in year 2008 with a view to create technocrats that will take the challenge to solve the problem of food security for the mammoth population.
At present department is having advanced GIS LAB with state-of-the art technology to train and develop technocrats with latest technology of Geographic Information Sysytem and Remote Sensing.
The students are under training to apt with soft-computing techniques of AutoCad, simulation Softwares - Cropwat, Instat and programming on MATLAB.
