YOGA DAY CELEBRATION 2026-27

The International Yoga Day was enthusiastically celebrated on 21st June 2026 at Manthan Hall, MIT Campus. The event aimed to promote awareness about the numerous benefits of practicing yoga and to encourage a healthy lifestyle among students and staff. The program began with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of International Yoga Day and its global importance. Faculty members and students actively participated in the session, showing great enthusiasm and dedication. During the event, various yoga asanas were performed under proper guidance. The session included basic to advanced yoga postures, breathing exercises (Pranayama), and meditation techniques. Participants practiced asanas such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana, and Surya Namaskar, which helped improve flexibility, concentration, and overall well-being. The environment of Manthan Hall was calm and positive, creating the perfect atmosphere for yoga practice. The session concluded with a meditation activity that helped participants feel relaxed and refreshed.
