MIT Polytechnic Receives “Excellent” Accreditation
MIT Polytechnic has been awarded the prestigious “Excellent” accreditation by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) for the academic year 2024-25. All six academic programs of the institute have achieved this remarkable distinction, reaffirming MIT Polytechnic’s commitment to academic excellence and quality education. The assessment is based on key parameters such as academic environment, infrastructure, quality of teaching, student performance, industry linkages, technical and industrial expert lectures, and overall institutional development. MIT Polytechnic excelled on all fronts, securing the highest grade. The institute currently offers six programs — Civil Engineering (NBA Accredited), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, and Mechatronics — with a total intake capacity of 660 students. Speaking on the achievement, Principal Dr. Sunil Deshmukh expressed that the accreditation reflects the institution’s dedication to providing high-quality education in a supportive academic environment. He credited the faculty, staff, and students for their collective efforts in achieving this milestone. President Dr. Y. A. Kawade , Director General Prof. Munish Sharma, Secretary Prof. B. M.
