The total intake capacity for the institute is 120 students. Keeping pace with rapid technological advancements and the evolving requirements of the industry, the institute has introduced the emerging and industry-oriented course in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning with an intake capacity of 60 students.

The department is supported by well-equipped laboratories and a team of experienced and qualified faculty members dedicated to academic excellence and skill development. Various co-curricular and technical activities are regularly organized to strengthen the learning environment and encourage overall student development.

The department strongly emphasizes project-based learning, enabling students to enhance their practical knowledge, innovation capabilities, problem-solving abilities, and industry-relevant technical skills.

PEO 1:       Provide socially responsible, environment friendly solutions to Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning related broad-based adapting professional ethics.

PEO 2:       Adapt state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning broad-based technologies to work in multi-disciplinary work environments.

PEO 3:       Solve broad-based problems individually and as a team member communicating effectively in the world of work.

PSO 1:    Problem Solving Skills – Apply AI&ML techniques to solve real world problems in various domains.

PSO 2: Ethically implement AIML solution - Execute AI&ML project from conceptualization to implementation including Ethical knowledge & societal impact of AI technologies.

PO 1    Basic Discipline and Specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems

PO 2     Problem Analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.

PO 3     Design and Development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined  technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.

PO 4     Engineering Tools, Experimentation and testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.

PO 5     Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
