Agricultural Engineering
The department was established in the year 2010 with an intake capacity of 60 students. The department is headed by Prof. Pathak with the team of young and dynamic staff. This department is having well-equipped laboratories to impart knowledge of subjects like Applied Mechanics, Surveying, Soil Mechanics and Concrete Technology, Design of Structures etc. Faculties are always interested in practical oriented teaching accordingly the site and field visits are arranged regularly. Staff members are always encouraged to attend various training programme, workshops, conferences and quality improvement programme.
VISION OF THE DEPARTMENT
To achieve excellence in Agriculture Engineering education, by applying knowledge of agricultural and allied branches of Engineering to develop professionally competent and socially committed engineers.
MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT
To impart quality education and training in the field of Agriculture Engineering by providing conducive environment for teaching-learning and innovation of face emerging technological and social challenges.
PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)
PE01: Provide socially responsible, environment friendly broad based solutions to agricultural engineering related problems adapting professional ethics.
PE02: Adapt state-of-the-art in agricultural Engineering broad based technologies to work in Multi-disciplinary work environments.
PE03: Solve broad-based problems individually and as a team member communicating effectively in the world of work.
